Diesel
Visual Merchandise Manager
The Business
Diesel is an innovative, design led company, producing a wide range of jeans, clothing and accessories. Becoming part of the youth culture worldwide, pioneering new styles and fabrics; they meet the ever increasing needs of today’s fashion pack.
The Role
Diesel were looking for a Visual Merchandise Manager to be based in London with UK coverage. The role had become available due to the fact that the current Visual Merchandise Manager had gone on maternity leave, they were taking the opportunity to review and revive the area. The role was to include Retail Visual Merchandiser reports across the UK and potentially Wholesale Visual Merchandisers too. They wanted somebody who would easily fit within the distinctive Diesel culture and could hit the ground running. The successful candidate would have proven man management experience and would be confident enough to make sound decisions.
The Solution
Hannah had previously interviewed the eventual successful candidate and had been working closely with her to detail a number of businesses she would be interested in working for. Diesel were highlighted in this list and as such were approached by Hannah to introduce the candidate. The business asked to meet with her on a speculative basis.
Diesel were very interested in meeting with her for a further interview and the candidate also met with the Italian Visual Merchandising Manager. After this two stage interview process a role was offered.
Subsequently we have been invited to join their PSL working closely on a number of roles.
