During the first year you will be introduced to each aspect of the role of Recruitment Consultant. After that year you will graduate to the position Recruitment Consultant.

Induction

The first week is an introduction to your new career. We cover the recruitment industry, the consumer industry, and an introduction to sevenhr – our mission and values.

Duration: One Week

Part 1 – Candidate Management

We involve you with our candidates immediately. You will learn about sourcing, selecting and interviewing candidates, making matches and managing the candidate process, all the time building a real understanding of the fmcg and retail markets. Work planning, IT, processes and administration training is delivered in this module.

Duration: Four months
Frequency of training:Three to four days initially then a half day every week

Part 2 – Business Development & Client Management

Sales training is the foundation of this module. Understanding your client’s needs is more than just taking a job brief – you will be dealing with our clients, working closely with them and solving their problems.

Duration: Four months
Frequency of training:One week initially then a half day every week

Part 3 – Trainee Consultant

Providing professional advice takes experience as well as expertise. In these four months you learn about all of our services and how to sell them. You will be involved in client meetings, running recruitment campaigns and delivering a full service. Your sales and negotiation training will continue as you learn all aspects of recruitment consultancy.

Graduating

Targets, objectives and performance indicators will be set out clearly at the beginning of each module. Graduating to the next stage will be based on your ability and understanding and your performance against these measurements.
